Beyond Diet gives the 5 foods to never eat to achieve significant weight loss. Moreover, below, Beyond Diet explains WHY these 5 foods are killing your fat loss.
A note of warning: These five foods and even the reasons why are they detrimental for your fat loss is very helpful information to know. But it is not a complete story. For complete guide to losing unwanted belly fat, we recommend purchasing the Beyond Diet book, see link below.
These are the five foods you should never eat if you want to lose weight:
- Orange Juice – Because it contains sugar, or simple carbohydrates
- Artificial sweeteners – They stress the liver so liver is unable to break down fats which then get stored in your body
- Whole Grain Bread – Because it contains simple carbohydrates that quickly transform into sugar when ingested, increasing blood sugar (but see below what bread is good for fat loss).
- Margarine – In fact all hydrogenated oils cause you to store fat.
- Soy products – Cause liver to work too hard, disabling it to break down fats.
Fat Loss Enemy #1: Sugar
Not just candy (which is bad) but also foods that are disguised as health foods but quickly transform to sugar inside your body. These are healthy cereals, low fat muffins, granola, and many other “healthy” foods.
Eating sugar will slow down weight loss because too much blood sugar leads to fat accumulation. On the other hand, too little blood sugar leads to “sugar cravings”, fatigue and hunger that leads to overeating sugary foods. Just the right amount of sugar in the blood will, however, cause fat loss.
Even worse, when your blood sugar is high, not only do you store fat, but the hormone insulin is secreted which brings sugar levels from high to very low, which causes food cravings and a vicious cycle of high-low sugar and continuous fat gain.
Carbs that turn into sugar quickly (simple carbs) will likewise be enemies of fat loss. Whole wheat bread, just like other breads contains many simple carbs. Pastas, even whole wheat pastas as well. Cereals, crackers, even those with health claims written all over them are detrimental for fat loss. They’ll put you in the fat storing mode.
Good carbs: These promote fat loss. You can eat breads made of sprouted grains, made of spelt and rice. You can eat breads made of quinoa and millet. You can have sweet potato. Pretty much any food and vegetable contains good carbs too. (Fiber and other nutrients in fruits and vegetables will help burn fat faster too).
Fats: If you don’t know the difference between the right kind of fat and the wrong kind of fat, your weight loss will be downright impossible.
Wrong fat vs right fat: You must have heard misconceptions by food gurus that eating fat will make you fat. Reality is, the right kind of fat will burn fat. Why? Because eating right kind of fat increases the metabolic process of burning stored fat in the body. Eating wrong kind of fat will have you store fat.
Wrong kinds of fat: hydrogenated oils, canola oil and vegetable oils, margarine, fake butter products (if you can’t read the ingredients).
Right kinds of fat: real butter, whole eggs, avocado, raw nuts, coconut oil.
It is a misconception that saturated fats are bad for you. They are good for you when they naturally occur, such as in nuts or olive oil. They’re what the body needs to burn off unwanted fat.
Fat Loss Enemy #2: Processed foods
Most processed foods contain a lot of sugar. But they also contain numerous chemicals that make it difficult for the body to burn off fat. It boils down to the functioning of liver.
Liver has (among others) two functions: the breakdown of fat and filtering of harmful substances that enter into your body.
When liver is overworked filtering, it makes it hard for it to break down fats effectively. It just has no time or energy left.
Harmful substances liver has to work hard on are: artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils and processed soy products. These chemicals are overwhelming your liver. Even yogurts, lunch meats, condiments, soups contain these harmful substances.
Eliminate microwaveable meals, processed soy products, processed snacks and
replace them with simple foods containing only one ingredient.
Steak, chicken, rice, sweet potatoes, olive oil. You can combine these into delicious meals.
Overwhelmed? That is why it is good to have a simple book that tells you exactly what to do, exactly what to eat, exactly when to eat, exactly what foods, and how to make it specific to you.
That is where the Beyond Diet book comes in. It is a 28-day metabolic breakthrough plan which will allow you to eat right foods, at the right time, to never be in the vicious cycle of blood sugar highs and lows. You can achieve fat loss by eating foods that are easily accessible in the grocery store.
